New and Improved Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Every now and then, Chevy likes to flex its muscle and remind people who's boss. This time, the flex comes with the all-new Chevy Silverado 1500. This truck brings a couple of "first-ever" additions, two new engines, and a complete interior and exterior redesign. The Engine Lineup: More Powerful Options
This year, it's out with the old and in with the new. While the EcoTec3 V8 engines certainly contributed to the versatility of previous-gen Silverado models, two new V8 engines will run the show this year. The TurboMax™ and 3.0-liter Duramax Turbo-Diesel I6 engine welcomes the 5.7-liter and 6.6-liter V8 engines to the lineup. That's more horsepower, torque, and a boost to your towing capacity from here to Parsippany and beyond. A standard 10-speed across the entire lineup replaces the 8-speed transmission.

The Interior Tech: Large and in Charge
There's more to love about this new Chevy truck. The fully digital infotainment and cluster system feature a standard 16.3-inch touchscreen and a 12.2-inch cluster. That's a huge bump up from last year's 13.4-inch infotainment screen. In addition, this year's model welcomes an 11.5-inch passenger screen. Also, Chevy repositioned the instrument panel to help improve your forward visibility. In the second row, redesigned seat ergonomics make your back seat riders more comfortable by the mile in Morristown, NJ. If you need to make room for your laptop while you're parked in Montville, the new Multi-Flex center console folds completely flat to create your workspace on the go.

Safety Improvements: More Awareness on the Road
Super Cruise is now available for the High Country and ZR2, doubling its trim-level availability from last year. Standard safety features also expand to include intersection automatic braking, side cyclist detection, and reverse automatic braking.

Exterior Design: When You Look Better, You Feel Better
The new body design shell includes U-shaped LED lights with animation packages, a more imposing front grille, and pronounced fenders. The 2027 Silverado 1500 is also about an inch longer than last year, while the off-road trims (ZR2 and Trail Boss) receive a 12.4-inch ground clearance-1.2 inches higher than last year.
